Our Goal is to help our clients achieve the highest level of business success through profitable outcomes or cost containment. This can be achieved through an expansive business plan that keeps a close watch on every aspect of the business operation.

Pharm Assess, Inc. is a pharmacy assessment consulting company which promotes a realistic approach to managing the weighted areas of businesses involved within the pharmacy industry.

We are a pharmacist owned and operated company with over 50 years of combined experience within all spectrums of pharmacy. We provide services designed to retain acceptable gross margins for our clients as well as assist them to navigate through the challenges our industry faces. We can also provide assistance for pharmacy owners exploring their options regarding the acquisition or selling of pharmacies. Our focus is on representing your best interest.

Mission Statement: To offer the highest level of service to optimize the return on investment in both the services Pharm Assess provides each client, as well as the services our clients provide to their customers. The measurements of success will be optimal gross margins, maximum profitability and cost containment for our clients; allowing them to offer improved patient care.



Monty Rogers, R.Ph.
President

Monty Rogers, R.Ph., founded Pharm Assess, Inc. as a consulting company which promotes business solutions aimed at independent pharmacy owners. He has worked with retail pharmacies, long term care pharmacies, managed care and specialty pharmacy services for over 25 years.

Rogers, R.Ph. owned and operated a Pharmacy Services Administrative Organization (PSAO) company offering third party contract review for approximately 2,000 pharmacies. Simultaneously, his responsibilities also include the ownership and oversight of a regional Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) program that serviced self-funded prescription programs for contracted clients. Through the PBM, he also administered a retail generic program aimed at keeping independent pharmacists competitive with industry programs offered through pharmacy chains and mass merchandisers. The PSAO and PBM were sold to Wholesale Alliance and Monty has since left that organization to focus on working more closely with retail pharmacy operations and to collaborate within the managed care arena.

Monty earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He has served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Kansas - School of Pharmacy since 1992. He is a member of the Kansas Pharmacist Association and NCPA.



Mark Olberding, PharmD.
Senior Director of Services and Client Support

Mark Olberding has worked within the pharmacy industry for over ten years supporting specialized services ranging from all aspects of retail pharmacy including new retail pharmacy setups, third party payer assistance for retail pharmacies, negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding managed care and retail formulary programs. He has served as a network manager for a PSAO since 2012 while simultaneously holding the same role for a national PBM. Mark also has experience working directly in both the retail and independent pharmacy settings where he has helped service multiple long term care and assisted living facilities.

Mark earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in Lawrence, KS. He is a member of NCPA, American Pharmacist Association and the Kansas Pharmacist Association.
