Pharmacy Policies for Operations

• Your pharmacy manual will be reviewed, enhanced OR we will create a compliant manual tailored to your pharmacy's needs
  • All important aspects will be included such as credentialing of staff; fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) and a medication error process through a quality assurance (QA) program.

Third Party Contracting

• We will work with your current PSAO to support your third party payer contracting needs OR will supervise your contracting needs through our preferred PSAO program
• We will represent your pharmacy with all other ‘direct’ contracts you may hold individually
  

Third Party Claims Reconciliation Supervision

• We will work with your current claims reconciliation provider OR will supervise your reconciliation needs through our preferred claims reconciliation program
• We will work with your pharmacy to directly represent you with claims reconciliation for ‘direct’ contracts you may hold individually where payment comes directly to your pharmacy

Third Party Audit Assistance

• We will promote a proactive approach to third party audits through awareness and insight
• We will provide assistance and guidance prior to onsite visits as well as during actual audits

Profitability Analysis and Tools

• We will monitor your daily volume in order to generate helpful information and reporting that will assist in positive financial outcomes for your business
• By using our own reporting tools, we can assist in auditing contracted reimbursement terms in order to project current and future profit and/or loss on brand as well as generic medications due to MAC pricing
• We will assist you in competing in the market place and cover the retail cash market that includes both retail cash as well as competing $4.00 generic programs
• We will offer an optional Claims Analysis Service which provides a ‘hands on’ approach to our pre and post analysis of your claims.  We stay involved with all aspects of the program to assure your pharmacy reaps the full benefit.  We will provide timely reports to show the value the program offers on a long term basis.
